Haute Media 2022: A Year in Review

The year 2022 was definitely one year for the books, thanks to our talented team and amazing clients! Our Haute Media team had the opportunity to capture event photography and videography for some once-in-a-lifetime events and make incredible memories that we will cherish forever! Here is a look at our Haute Media 2022: A Year in Review, highlighting a few of our most memorable moments from this past year!

Ice-T at Raising Cane’s

In June, in honor of National Iced Tea Day, Raising Cane’s hosted a very special event. Ice-T, the legendary musician and “Law and Order: SVU” star, donned a Raising Cane’s uniform to interact with and serve customers as a fun surprise! Not only did Ice-T make and serve fresh Iced Tea, but guests were able to watch the Actor in action while he filmed a commercial for the popular fast-food company. Ice-T was also happy to take customer orders at the cash register and drive-thru window, and pose for many photo ops! It was an irreproducible moment for not only guests, but our Haute Media team as we got to witness the delight on all the customer’s faces. Not only are these moments special for us, but the photos are extremely valuable to Raising Cane’s as a brand who were able to utilize the images in marketing campaigns and publish on social media!

Elvis Movie Premiere – Harkins Hunka Burnin’ Love Party!

June was a busy month with our Haute Media Team also having the incredible opportunity to photograph a special screening party of the new Elvis movie at Harkins Theatres in Scottsdale, featuring a surprise appearance from the leading-man, Austin Butler, and director, Baz Luhrmann, themselves! As soon as Baz and Austin stepped into the theater, the crowd went wild and we could not wait to capture photos of these two and the ecstatic fans! We were pretty star-struck ourselves and we couldn’t help falling in love with these two.. We love looking back on these incredible images and remembering what an amazing day that was!

The event included a social mixer, gala, professional headshot station (set up and ran by yours truly), and a special guest appearance by the United States Secretary for the Department of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg. Photography is all about capturing special moments in time, allowing those present and even those absent, to recall the emotions and atmosphere of an event for years to come. That is why event photography is vital to any successful corporate event.

No matter what type of event you are hosting, whether it is a conference, trade show, awards banquet, or even an open house event, it is important to document your events with professional photography.

Benefits of Virtual Events

Virtual Events

As a business or brand, it is important to know the benefits of virtual events and how they can impact your company. Virtual events are not just a fad of the past few years, but a digital experience that is here to stay! Virtual events, events in which all the elements and attendee participation takes place virtually, are oftentimes more flexible, cost effective, and less-time consuming alternatives to traditional events.

There are many positive factors of virtual events that go on to support the fact that they have not dissipated with the times. In fact, Virtual events have increased in popularity by 35% from 2020. Which makes sense when you consider that during times where meeting in person can become an unattainable or inefficient option, virtual events offer a highly effective way to continue on connecting and sharing ideas with people all around the world. Virtual events not only offer many time and cost-saving advantages to the host, they also provide attendees with a freedom and flexibility not available in traditional, in-person events. Even going as far to break the time, travel, and location constraints that can surround attending an in-person event. A person in Arizona and a person in New York can attend the same event without the cost and hassle of hopping on a plane!

Like traditional, in-person events, virtual events are still an incredible way to generate brand recognition and bring information and awareness to an idea or topic. It is also just as easy, if not easier, to gauge key performance indicators such as event attendance and fundraising efforts, which are both key indicators of a successful event.

Virtual events are an incredibly valuable alternative to traditional events that can oftentimes be the better choice for a specific business or company.

What are the Benefits of Virtual Events?

  1. Freedom and flexibility for your participants and attendees
  2. Save money on travel costs for participants and attendees
  3. Reach a wider, global audience
  4. Connect and network with people all over the world, while growing your brand recognition simultaneously
  5. Raise greater funds for your cause by reaching a wider range of people

Feeding Matters Annual Community Virtual Event

Our Haute Media team has partnered with Feeding Matters to produce their annual virtual community fundraising event for the past three years and each year, it gets better and better! Earlier this month, we conducted a live-streamed broadcast of Feeding Matters 2022 Annual Community Event, which was entirely virtual for their online audience. Feeding Matters is a nonprofit that works to improve the system of care for children with Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) through advocacy, education, and research. Their Annual Community Event is held each year to raise awareness and support for PFD, recognize the accomplishments of their PFD families, and share the impact that Feeding Matters is making. The use of a virtual event allowed Feeding Matters to extend their reach and connect with a wider, global audience in order to raise awareness and funds for children who struggle with pediatric feeding disorder. That is one of the greatest benefits of virtual events, to connect and network with a wider range of people who all care about such an important cause.

Hybrid Events

Another great alternative that works to incorporate the pros of both virtual and in-person events are hybrid events. Hybrid events include elements and attendee participation that take place both in-person at a physical location and online virtually. They work to maintain the memorability and personality of your in-person events, while having the flexibility and accommodations that come with virtual spaces. Attendees, speakers, and sponsors who are not able to attend in-person, can be virtually connected to those at the event in order to assist and contribute to the overall success of an event.

How Haute Media Can Help You!

Haute Media can help your business with any of your Virtual or Hybrid Event needs. From room layout and set design to audio and music to live video streaming and broadcasting; our Haute Media team will guide you through every step of your event production from initial planning and rehearsals to final delivery and production.

Experiential Event Photography & Videography

Experiential Event Photography & Videography

What are Experiential Events & How do they Promote Your Brand?

A business doesn’t want people to just know their brand, they want people to experience their brand. Companies began to search for a more engaging and tangible way to promote their brand to an audience beyond that of traditional events. Just as all ideas and concepts have the ability to change and grow, events and the manner in which they are executed have also evolved. Thus, the creation of experiential events. An experiential event is a multifaceted affair that completely immerses attendees with the hopes of leaving them with positive brand image and lasting memories for years to come.

This past Summer, our Haute Media Team had the amazing opportunity to photograph a special screening party of the new Elvis movie featuring a surprise appearance by Austin Butler and Baz Luhrmann themselves! As soon as Baz and Austin stepped into the theatre, the crowd went wild and of course, everyone wanted their photo taken with these two! This is a perfect example of an experiential event and the important role of photography and videography in promoting your brand. By capturing photos at this event, not only did it leave a lasting impression on all of the guests but the photos were used as promotional material. When it comes to promoting your brand and your events, visual content such as photos and videos are essential!

Baz Luhrmann & Austin Butler at the Harkins Theaters Hunka Burnin’ Love Premiere Party

Here is another great example of an experiential event that our Haute Media team captured recently – In honor National Iced Tea Day, Raising Cane’s hosted a special event with legendary musician and “Law and Order: SVU” star, Ice-T who interacted with and served their customers as a fun surprise! Not only did Ice-T make and serve fresh Iced Tea, guests were able to watch the Actor in action while filming a commercial for Raising Cane’s, plus he took customer orders and posed for photo ops. These photos highlight a fun and irreproducible moment for guests that they will always remember and correlate with Raising Cane’s. Not only are these moments special for guests, but the photos are extremely valuable to Raising Cane’s as a brand who were able to utilize the images in marketing campaigns and publish on social media.

Raising Cane’s Campaign: Ice-T Knows Iced Tea

The purpose of an experiential event is to bring a brand to life in the eyes of the target audience. The key being to target a desired audience and then communicate brand values by creating memorable experiences that give and add value to the lives of customers. Instead of a company telling their audience what their brand is about, the audience gets to experience the brand for themselves. By bringing a brand to life and allowing people to engage and interact with the brand for themselves, the audience will hopefully create a positive attachment to the brand as well. Therefore, creating brand awareness and brand loyalty that can then be shared through positive word of mouth and social media.

Another important factor of experiential events is the opportunity for photography and videography. Experiential events are the perfect opportunity to gather publisher-generated and user-generated content that can be utilized across multiple traditional and digital platforms.

Why is Experiential Event Photography & Videography Important?

It is important to utilize Photography & Videography to enhance any experiential event. Photography and videography gathered during an experiential event is essential to sharing the personality of a brand to the audience outside the scope of the event. Those not in attendance will still be able to connect with the personality and energy of a brand through the lens of photography and videography. High quality photos and videos from a fun, engaging experiential event will generate buzz and get people excited and talking about a brand!

Take a look at this amazing video from the Scottsdale Arts Annual ARTrageous Gala! Doesn’t this video make you want to attend the next ARTrageous event?!

The ARTrageous Gala 2022 at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts

This is why in the age of social media, it is also important to have photo opportunities for guests to have for their own personal use. Having visually engaging images that can be shared online will not only get guests excited and feel personally a part of the event. It will also double serve as an organic marketing effort to promote a positive brand image and extend brand reach to an attendee’s personal followers.

Experiential events are a unique, immersive way for guests to engage with you brand and create lifelong memories in the process. Experimental events are incredibly rewarding for both the brand and the guests, however, they are also an incredible deal of work. If you are hosting an experiential event, our Haute Media team would love to help and take your brand to the next level by providing you with stunning, high-quality photos and/or videos that can be shared in any format! Ensure that your company is viewed in the most positive of lights and your guests have an abundance of photos and videos to share with their friends and family!

5 Tips For Event Speakers To Captivate An Audience

5 Tips For Event Speakers To Captivate An Audience

Capturing the attention of your audience should be the goal of any event speaker. It can be intimidating to get a live audience to pay attention, especially at a loud event with many distractions and multiple speakers. The goal to differentiate oneself from other speakers and leave a lasting impression can cause immense pressure. A successful speaker has more to contribute than just the context of their words. Factors such as stage presence, personality, and props all play a role in how well an audience remembers your performance. It is important to take a step back to understand all of the elements outside of a speech that contribute to your overall success. Following these 5 tips for event speakers will surely help you captivate your audience and leave them with fond memories of you and your event for years to come!

5 tips for an event speaker

5 Tips For Event Speakers To Captivate An Audience

1. Set The Stage

Small details such as lighting and sound may seem obvious, but these minute details will contribute to the fluidity of a speech and make you look and sound your best. Make sure to double check preparations before heading onstage. It is also important to fill the background in a visually engaging way. Whether with a nameplate, corporate logo, or banner; include visuals that help the audience know who you are and what your business is. When guests are looking back at photos and/or videos, the company logos or event banners will help them recall details of your speech and event.

2. Use Appealing Visuals/Props

Many people retain more information with the assistance of visuals and props. The use of photos, graphs, statistics or props that correlate with the information verbalized in your speech will enhance the overall experience of your presentation. It’s important to note that visuals such as slides, PowerPoints, or videos should not deliver your speech for you. Instead, they are there to compliment your speech and offer a visual representation of your words.

www.HautePhotoVideo.com

3. Use Big Movements

Standing in the same spot and position for the duration of your speech will likely cause you to lose your audience’s attention. As an attendee, it is not easy to give your complete undivided attention during a long motionless and monotonous speech. So it is up to you as the professional speaker to captivate your audience! Fill the stage with your voice and movements. Talk with your hands, raise your arms at key points, and fluctuate your voice to minimize any lulls in your speech. Having movement in your speech provides variation and will help keep your audience’s attention. Grand gestures not only keep your audience entertained, but also make for great candid photos to look back on!

4. Understand Your Audience

When preparing for any speech, it is always important to first understand who your audience is. This will equip you with the knowledge of how to best interact with your listeners, what visuals and props you should include, what jokes would resonate best, and what technology to incorporate. Tailoring your performance based on the exact audience creates a more memorable experience!

5.  Interact With Your Audience

Don’t be afraid to interact with your audience. Ask questions. Make your way into the crowd. Maintain direct eye contact. If they are wearing name tags, use their names when addressing them. These techniques will liven up any crowd and capture their attention. By connecting with your audience, you add more dimension and humanity to your presentation.

Follow these 5 Tips for Event Speakers to Captivate An Audience and ensure that you and your events are timelessly memorable. For more great tips, visit www.HautePhotoVideo.com and contact Haute Media to capture your next event!

Benefits of Reaching a Virtual Audience

Benefits of Reaching a Virtual Audience

One of the main benefits of reaching a virtual audience is being able to target multiple markets at any one time. Virtual and hybrid events have incredible potential for growth in audience engagement. Live streamed virtual events can be attended by anyone from any location, allowing you to reach wider demographics and grow your overall customer base.

If you’re planning a live in-person event, incorporating a hybrid platform will allow you to increase your overall reach and gainmore attendees. Hybrid events combine both live and virtual event elements to create a unique and engaging experience while providing greater flexibility for your audience. Hybrid event models also help ensure that no one misses out on your amazing event due to travel or scheduling restrictions.

Broadcasting your live event via a virtual platform opens many doors by giving you the chance to connect with a larger audience than could ever be possible in person. A virtual audience is able to actively participate in your live event from their mobile devices or desktop computer in real time. They can be anywhere in the world and still attend and most importantly engage in your event. Virtual engagement tools you can incorporate in your hybrid events include live polls, Q&A sessions, and real-time audience chat for remote participants.

For event planners, corporate professionals, and business owners, it is important to understand the benefits of reaching a virtual audience and how to utilize virtual event components to enhance your overall attendee experience.

What are the Benefits of Reaching a Virtual Audience?

  • Target multiple markets at any one time
  • Expand reach to a global level
  • Increase participant engagement with mobile accessible networking features
  • Provide greater flexibility for your attendees

Whether you’re hosting a virtual or hybrid event, there are several benefits of reaching a virtual audience. Successful event planners hire professional videographers to handle their virtual event video production to ensure a seamless production process and a polished presentation for the final event.

You can count on our professional video production team to:

  • Choose the right technology and virtual event platform to support the experience you aim to deliver

Feeding Matters hosted their 9th Annual Community Fundraiser event in November and Team Haute was honored to produce their entire virtual event for the second year in a row! Reaching a virtual audience was a major benefit for Feeding Matters. The event reached a worldwide audience and raised over $200K virtually!

Feeding Matters is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families who care for children with pediatric feeding disorder. Every year, Feeding Matters hosts a community fundraising event to raise awareness and help improve the system of care for pediatric feeding disorder.

Feeding Matters’ Annual Community Event unites families, clinicians, donors, and supporters to celebrate advances in PFD and raise much-needed funds to accelerate identification, ignite research, and promote collaborative care for children with PFD.
